There is a product called the "Zune Dock" one Microsoft.com that will be able to adapt to the Microsoft Windows Phone. Besides that fact, it can broadcast 720p HD through the Zune interface on the Phone.
Actually, if you share this on your Twitter/Myspace/Facebook account, its more likely that a legitimate phone-hardware developer like Samsung or LG will see it, and if it gets popular enough, they might buy the design or make a derivative product.
I've owned several Samsung phones. I like how long their batteries last, and how sturdy they are, but mine never really seemed very loud. =[ Always had to pump the dB on the actual ringtone files to hear them.
But, yes, Samsung and LG are two of the three brands that are making the Windows Phone 7 right now. (LG Phone scroll down to see video; Samsung Phone scroll down to see video)
Awesome! I hope a lot of people will be excited for this! =] I'm glad to see that you are!
I officially give YOU (you meaning ~kichakicha on and only on www.deviantart.com) permission to make a 3D render, and to post it wherever you like, AS LONG AS:
-It is nonprofit -It is noncommercial (unless given express permission from me: [halfingr.deviantart.com]) -Its design is attributed to: 2010 Halfingr.deviantART.com -You provide a hyperlink to my original design wherever you post it (you can post anywhere as long as it coincides with these terms) -It is Badass
These terms are subject to negotiation, and are subject to change within the next 24-48 hours (not much though Just gotta run through them to make sure I don't leave out any technicalities).
And I would change the position of the Win flag at the rear. IMO itīs too near the lense. It makes this little area look stuffed. Maybe move it down to the middle or even more. But that’s just my two cents.
What if the camera lense was inside that upper trapeze? The new function buttons look way better. Did you think about putting some gloss effect to the display? Maybe have a look at this guys [link] stuff for inspiration. What would be the size of that display? The LED flash ring around the lense is a great idea.
The upper plastic trapeze houses the FM radio tuner, the 4G cell tranciever (out of the way of the hand when holding the phone, defeating the "deathgrip" affect that the iPhone 4 suffers from), and possibly other special components that allows the phone to communicate with the special radio transmissions of the XBOX and other related things (EG: Microsofts "three cloud vision"). So, for technicality reasons, I didn't put it up there, but it is a good idea. I did think about doing it like that so that it wasn't in the middle of the phone.
I was definately thinking about putting a glossy effect on the screen, but I need to change the screen resolution to match the 480x800u criterium that Microsoft set down for their own phones (currently I think it is 400x800, but Im' not quite sure of that), as well as recreate the homescreen, or at least find a high enough resolution picture of the homescreen.
The flash ring is an idea I got from seeing one of my dad's friend's camera flash. Each sector provides less light, but it is a lot smoother/more widespread than a normal flash, as well as evenly spread from the center of the picture.
